Venezuela Is it any wonder that developing countries end up with shitty governments? The decent governments eventually get voted out but the bad ones .make sure they never : Gunmen opened fire on students returning from a march Wednesday in which 80,000 people denounced President Hugo Chavez's attempts to expand his power. At least eight people were injured, including one by gunfire, officials said.Since New Zealand is sliding down the economic ladder towards second world status, perhaps we shouldn't be surprised that our left wing government is also messing with the electoral system to prevent its own demise. |
